Home > Surah 43 - The Ornaments of Gold
This is an extraordinary hypothetical statement given to Muhammad:
Surah 43:81:
Say, 'If the Most Merciful had a son, then I would be the first of worshippers.'
The text admits that if God had a son, worship of that son would be the correct, pious response.
If you take this conditional statement and couple it with the historical and textual reliability of the New Testament (already validated by verses 4, 45, and Surah 25:35). Since the reliable previous scriptures explicitly state that God does have a Son, by the Quran's own logic in 43:81, Muhammad and his followers should be the first to worship Him.
