The surah stumbles into a major theological contradiction with other parts of the Quran regarding whether looking at the divine essence is a physical impossibility or an exclusive VIP reward.
Surah 83:15:
No! Indeed, from their Lord, that Day, they will be partitioned.
The Contradiction: This verse states that the ultimate punishment for the damned is being blocked or "veiled" (mahjuboon) from seeing God, which explicitly implies that the righteous will physically see Him. However, this directly violates Surah 6:103, which states as a universal theological absolute: "Vision perceives Him not, but He perceives [all] vision."
If God is truly transcendent, immaterial, and beyond physical sight as Surah 6 claims, then the threat of being "veiled" from Him in Surah 83 becomes entirely meaningless. The text cannot decide whether God is a non-physical spirit or a localized entity who can be visually hidden behind a curtain.
