Home > Deconstructing the Standard Islamic
Islamic apologetics today functions as an exercise in damage control, attempting to shield the doctrine of Ismah from the troubling ethical realities documented in the Sira and Hadith.
The 'Perfect Man' of Islamic tradition is a myth that cannot survive a candid reading of the sources; the moral failures recorded there reveal the true nature of the system’s founder - Muhammad.
1. Child Bride (Aisha) - By consummating his marriage to Aisha at age nine, Muhammad is shown to NOT be a pinnacle of moral perfection.
2. Cruel - Specific acts, such as the mutilation of the Urayniyyah tribesmen, are used to argue that his actions lacked divine compassion.
3. Murderer - The targeted assassinations of critics and poets are framed as the use of homicide to silence ideological dissent.
4. Racist - Some Hadiths associate blackness with negative traits and racial hierarchies.
5. Rapist - The taking of female captives as "war booty" (e.g., at Khaybar or Banu Mustaliq) is taken as religious justification of sexual assault.
6. Sexist - Quranic and Hadith-based mandates show the "deficiency" of women and prove inherent gender subordination.
7. Slaver - His ownership, trade, and distribution of slaves show that Islam institutionalized rather than abolished human bondage.
8. Thief - Caravan raiding for spoils in the Medina period is defined as the sanctification of banditry and plunder.
9. Violent Man - His direct command of military executions and tribal massacres is contrasted with the non-violent example of Christ.
10. Warmonger - The shift toward offensive Jihad is evidence of a faith fundamentally spread by military conquest rather than spiritual persuasion.
