The overwhelming number of biblical stories mentioned in the Quran come from the Old Testament.
The Quran mentions Jesus, John the Baptist, Mary, Zechariah and the Disciples of Jesus.
The Quran clearly sees itself as a continuation of the previous scriptures so will break into the three Hebrew Old Testament areas of Torah, Prophets and Writings.
As the Arabic Quran is only a little larger that the Greek New Testament's four Gospels, then it is not surprising that many stories are missing completely.
