The Bible emphasises the breath of life from God; the Quran emphasises the material origin and stages of development.
Genesis 2:7 - "then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature."
In the Quran, man is created from clay, dust, or a drop of fluid, depending on the verse.
Surah 23:12–14 – “We created man from an extract of clay…”
Surah 76:2 – “We created man from a drop of mingled fluid…”
The Quran completely drops the detail of Eve being created from the rib of Adam, as well as her name! These details are only added later in Hadiths.
